Writing Update 12/22/2011 6:00 PM

In the end, it's always the society that is to blame for the issues that individuals have when they realize they are "too special" for people to accept.

But anyways, I'm going to have to state a few things here. I know that this might seem a bit sudden, but...I'm going to make a few matters apparent in the time that I have, just to not fool my readers of my intentions. This ways, not only will there be less unhappy readers, but I will make sure that the writing I can place out will be well-thought-out and not so weakly done.

1) Under the Endless Sky will be a dark Seinen Deconstruction of the following themes: Mafioso Heroism, Purity and the Ideal Status Quo. Not only will there be a lot of destruction of the ideas that Tsuna is a hero, but purity of girls will be nonexistent in here, mainly because there is no such real thing as purity. There is naivete and innocence, but that exists only when you are a child. And as for the status quo...it's all a perspective flaw. This fanfic is mainly for people to see that it is to force people to THINK, not just admire the TsuHaru pairing. Much of the fanfic will be quite dark and Puella Magi Madoka Magica/Heaven's Feel-like so that the TsuHaru will not come out of nowhere. All pairings come in from logical, believable progress that is gradual, and people will see this.

2) Helene wil be a major deconstruction of the purity myth of girls, especially Kyoko. Not only will I make this one a Tragedy, but it will be a complete destruction of the Tsuna/Kyoko pairing, mainly because it will let my readers see just how bad that pairing can make the world in ways of its irrationality. Not that TsuHaru is the absolute rationale, but...the thing is, Kyoko expects Tsuna to be a perfect Superman hero, and she has no will or intention to take those rose-colored lenses off, so she will be so disappointed with everything, including herself, that she would become self-destructive.

3) Queen of the Underworld is a sister fanfic on Haru's take on Helene. It will also be the only fanfic I will write with an OC/canon character fanfic in the KHRverse, mainly because I think that there are plenty of smart people out in the world in KHR, and that there is a major chance of one of them stealing Haru away from the Vongola family when he notices just how desolate and ignored Haru is. Chances are, he can easily also use Haru for information and all sorts of abilities so that she would be loyal to him instead, mainly because the fact remains that the Vongola family, Tsuna especially, don't care about Haru much. From here, I can see Haru become very dark and manipulative and damn terrifying and...not to mention, extremely furious and full of hatred.

Other than that, I have other updates, but those are for later...and I can't write all of them in here yet. Mainly because I can't memorize them all at once. X.X Damn it all...

Progress: Chapter 7 almost halfway done!

So, yeah…the title says it all. That and…I am in need of some feedback on the material in regards to what the development of the characters should be like, primarily Yamamoto, Gokudera, Ryohei, and Chrome.

Ryohei and Yamamoto, I think, are especially tricky, since they haven’t completely found out about the entire mafia situation in regards to being grounded in reality as of yet. Tsuna, I think, will also be a pain, because I am trying to develop him from an adolescent boy into a full-grown man, and it is difficult due to the fact that I’m not a guy and that I do not always understand how men think. –is very ignorant–

Haru, as far as I can tell, is also a challenge. Most fanfic writers in KHR either make her godly (another term for Mary Sueish, which is really bad), or they make her absolutely silly without any form of intelligence whatsoever (even many good ones).

However, I see Haru as being capable of growing extraordinarily well without becoming too godly or anything. What’s more, I have heard from a few people who told me that the girl should not have a flame, mostly because it would automatically make her a godly character and ruin her development, and I have to slightly disagree, even if that’s me. If the flame is something that she cannot use without very serious, dire consequences, then it would at least force her into a bit of responsibility in regards to power. What’s more, I’m planning on having Haru be almost completely an operational (read: military mastermind) and sniper (top ace in weapons), since her flame will actually cause trouble for the group and bring a lot of enemies, both inside the Vongola and outside, if she does show her flame to anyone who will talk.

That said, I don’t completely know how I am going to take the pairings into this fanfic, but I will as promised. I admit, I started out with the idea of creating an epic action/adventure story with TsuHaru in it, and then 1896 somehow followed and everything came into it automatically. Sometimes, I wish I could stop coming up with so many ideas in one fic. -sigh-

So, um…feel free to tell me what you think, guys, because I truly wish for this work to work well, and I don’t want it to end up like certain other works (for instance, the Flames and Family series), all fanservice at the end and not much making sense. I want to make the ending with impact, something that will throw the reader off balance in its intensity.
